Jinan deepens cooperation with multinationals

Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, hosted a roadshow event at the Qingdao Multinationals Summit on July 16.

More than 140 guests from the world's top 500 companies, multinationals, as well as business associations attended, such as Johnson Controls, SAP, Festo, and Hitachi. Representatives of more than 10 key enterprises in Shandong also took part, including Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Shandong Hi-speed Group.

Agreements on nine projects were signed at the roadshow, covering high-end manufacturing, modern finance, and new materials.

Sun Licheng, Party secretary of Jinan, detailed the city's economic and social developments achievements, while also touting its favorable business environment. He added that he hoped more multinational firms would start businesses in the city.

The event aimed to take advantage of the summit to promote the city's business environment and industrial development advantages, as well as to deepen cooperation with multinationals to bolster the city's high-quality development.
